m loves dora

m loves her some dora and diego.

i get asked a million a hundred times a day if she can watch more dora.

i'm pretty sure b is tired of watching it with her.

 

although we're all sick of it, she loves it and gets way into the show.  when dora says, "[say it] louder!", watch out cause m will knock your socks off.

that girl can yell.

it is pretty cute when she gets into it though.  i especially love it when she tries to say all the spanish words.  she's actually getting pretty good.

 

yesterday, m was upstairs playing, when i hear her yelling, "ayudame! ayudame!" [help me! help me!]

 

we just might have to cut back a little more on dora and diego.  i don't think too many of us are going to be super bummed about it.

 

oh, and she was just playing.  i'm not even sure that she knows what ayudame means.

m to the mr. today:

"what a silly guy!"

i totally didn't even know that she knew those two words went together.

french toes

this morning, the mr. convinced me to make him breakfast.

i kindly obliged since, well, i don't make breakfast very often.

he wanted french toast, so that's what we had.

as we're sitting at the table eating, b said that she was all done with her french toast and she didn't want any more.

m says to b, "i still have some.  see my french toes?"

and promptly showed b her toes.

at one point in the conversation, she even put her feet up on the table so we could all see them.

and no matter what we tell m, she's still convinced that she's got french toes.

no, you have to keep them on.

m thinks for a second and you can literally see the light bulb go on in her mind - she points to the dress-up clothes and says, "i want dress."

bluetooth

little bit of a back story:

last month, the mr. and i got new phones.  i got my first bluetooth with our new phones and b constantly asks what it is called.

we were in the car today and she had a toothpick.  she lost it at some point while we were driving.

when we stopped and got out, she found her toothpick in her car seat and exclaimed:  "i found my bluetooth!"

at least she's remembering what it's called now.

today, we were in town doing our grocery shopping.

as i was getting b out of the car, she stops and goes, "uh, oh.  i lost dad's kiss!"

oh, you did?
"ya, it fell off."

silly child.

the things she comes up with.

yesterday, b and suzi were playing in b's room while the grown-ups were playing games.

one of us just happened to overhear the following conversation take place:

suzi:  that's my castle!

b:  then take your castle and get outta my house!

that's the way to make and keep friends, b.
tell them to get out of your house.
nice.
good thing those two love each other.

out of nowhere, she says:

"mom, i wanna punch something."

say what?

where did she learn that?
