vicks and salt

it's 6:30 in the morning and i'm wide awake.

i don't get up this early unless one of the girls is awake.

we went to the dam a couple nights ago where i got eaten alive by mosquitoes.

i guess that b and i taste yummy.

our legs are both covered in bites.

m and the mr. don't taste so good.

they've got like 3 between the 2 of them.

jealous?  why yes, i am.

so i'm wide awake googling witch  home remedies to take the itch away.

okay, that's not quite what my search was.  but that's what i'm looking for!

so right now, my legs are covered in vicks vapor rub and salt.

don't. ask.

if that doesn't work, next up:  toothpaste and deodorant.

s'mores

tonight the girls and i tagged along with the mr. + j & k to do the water.

okay, we were just along for the ride while they did the water.

after doing the water, we went up to the pond they're building to have some s'mores and brats.

well, i only had a s'more.

but that's because i'm a huge party pooper and don't like brats.

m playing in the dirt.  she was so dirty when we got home.

i came away with so many mosquito bites.

they basically run in a vertical line down my shin.

not cool mosquitos, not cool.

next time, i'll remember the repellant.

the itsy bitsy spider

...made a web above my stove.

isn't that a weird looking spider?

it it just me or does it look like there's a skull on his back?

he didn't last very long.

as soon as i shut the camera off, he died.

spiders and i don't get along.

especially when they try to make their home in my home.

her first bug...

i just got a text message from the mr.

it read, "your daughter was eating a bug."

i guess that means i'm officially a parent now.

or does that happen when she has her first taste of dirt?
