we just spent three days in rexburg looking for a place to live while the mister goes back to school.
we've moved a lot in our marriage, so i know what i can/can't live without in an apartment.
i really didn't think that my list was that tough to fill. i thought i was being pretty flexible.
well the top priority on my list (3 bedrooms) is apparently a hard thing to find in rexburg.
the places that actually have any 3 bedroom apartments have a waiting list of 2+ years.
so we had more than one complex practically laugh at us when we asked.
we also had our list of places that we'd found on craigslist or the school's bulletin board to look at.
there was probably 10-15 places on that list to look at.
within 2 hours of being in rexburg, we were down to two left.
everything else was either 2 bedrooms that we were hoping had big bedrooms and/or additional living space, or had already been rented - most of them, literally, the day before.
places move quick in rexburg.
there were a couple places that came up for rent while we were there and we were too late with our phone call. seriously. within 2 hours of it being posted, we were too late.
so we're down to two options left at the very top of our price range to rent.
