yesterday, we went to playgroup.
it was going to be a halloween party and the kids were supposed to go dressed up.
i didn't get b a costume this year because she's too little to go trick-or-treating
okay and i'm too cheap to buy a costume and don't have a sewing machine or time to make one.
i remembered seeing a costume in the stuff my sister-in-law gave me, so i went in search of it.
she has a baby that was born in july last year, so my deductive reasoning when i've looked at it before was that it would fit b too, because her cousin would've been 3 1/2 months around halloween and she's 5 1/2 months, right?
wrong.
i dig out the costume and look at the tag and it's labeled 3m.
so i hold it up and think, "maybe i can squeeze her into it."
so of course, i tried.
it was too small.
so i took pictures and then took it back off.
we went to the party costumeless.
here's a picture of her in the costume though:

yes, for those of you asking, she's in a tigger costume.
some of you know how much i hate winnie the pooh
okay, okay.
i don't hate winnie the pooh, i actually like winnie the pooh, i'm just not a big fan of my child advertising for them - or any other character for that matter.
(i'll stop before i get going on that topic)
she does make a pretty cute tigger though, doesn't she?
this is how we ended up going to the costume.
she is so stinkin' cute.
Pretty cute little Tigger!! I'm right there with you on Winnie the Pooh too ... seems like he's slapped on EVERYTHING!! I like the cartoon, but my daughter is NOT a Pooh model ... so I refuse to put her in any Pooh clothes ... the tigger costume would be an exception to the rule though! Briana looks adorable!
ReplyDeleteShe does make a cute tigger! I however am partial to Winnie the pooh clothing, or maybe it's just ANY baby clothing in general.
ReplyDeleteI also Hate winnie the pooh attire. I was so glad to hear someone else who does! She is getting so big!
ReplyDeleteShes the cutest Tigger Ive ever seen! But that kid is cute in anything. I am the same way about my kids wearing characters, if they pay me money then Ill put that stuff on my kids!
